Spooky Tooth will be performing in the U.K. and Europe in May and June 2009. The first date will be part of a remarkable week-long celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Island Records and its founder Chris Blackwell. Re-formed Spooky Tooth with original members Mike Harrison and Gary Wright along with guitarist Steve Farris (Mr. Mister), bassist Shem von Schroeck (Kenny Loggins / Michael McDonald) and drummer Tom Brechtlein (Chick Corea) will take the stage of London's Shepherds Bush Empire on 29th of May and then continue with several gigs in Germany.

this is to announce the official reunion of Spooky Tooth - with two German gigs already booked! Friday, June, 4th, Worpswede (near Bremen), "Musichall" and Saturday, June, 5th HAMBURG, "Hamburger Bluesfestival" Open Air.

Well: Mike Harrison, Gary Wright & Mike Kellie are back together again! They will soon embark on a German tour, and apart from their legendary numbers like "Better By You, Better Than Me", "That Was Only Yesterday" or "Evil Woman", they will also play songs from their albums YOU BROKE MY HEART and WITNESS which have never been performed live before, according to Mike Harrison.
Every Spooky Tooth fan remembers "Waiting For The Wind" from SPOOKY TWO: Mike Kellie´s 4/4 drum groove, soon syncopated and echoed in the song´s intro, paved the way for Mike Harrison´s soulful vocals and the heavy hammond organ sounds of his vocal counterpart Gary Wright, wailing his attractive falsetto.
